Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to develop a user-friendly, production-ready planning entry point for Sales Space Planning and Store Planning. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TypeScript and React, component-driven UI development, REST/OpenAPI integrations, and modern front-end architecture.

The candidate will collaborate closely with product, business, and UX teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences while integrating with the existing architecture. The role requires a team player who can take ownership of front-end development and associated integrations without unnecessarily replacing established systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain production-ready front-end applications using TypeScript and React.
- Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces driven by UX principles and business requirements.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and OpenAPI-based services.
- Implement component-driven UI architectures and reusable design systems.
- Manage application state and ensure accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Understand information flows between systems and deliver clean, scalable integration solutions.
- Work within the existing architecture and extend its capabilities in alignment with established technical decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, designers, and UX teams.
- Apply DevOps practices and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Leverage AI-assisted, specification-driven development practices where appropriate.
- Contribute to 3D user experiences and interactive visualisation capabilities where required.

Required Skills and Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with
**TypeScript and React**

- Solid understanding of modern web technologies and front-end architecture.
- Experience consuming and producing REST APIs and working with OpenAPI specifications.
- Experience with state management, component-driven development, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UX-driven development and accessibility standards.
- Experience with DevOps practices and production-ready software delivery.
- Ability to understand system integrations, data flows, and architectural dependencies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional product, business, and UX teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Professional proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with 3D visualisation technologies such as Three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, or Autodesk Platform Services (APS).
- Full-stack development experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms and dynamic page rendering.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools, specification-driven workflows, and AI integrations.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and observability tools.
- Experience in retail planning, store planning, sales space planning, or commercial planning.
