## **About the Assignment**
We are currently looking for a **Test & Validation Engineer** to join an exciting development environment focused on advanced Android-based platforms and user interfaces.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring system performance, stability, and quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers and systems engineers to design test strategies, automate test cases, and validate functionality across both software and hardware layers.
This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with complete systems and contribute to delivering reliable, robust, and user-friendly products.
## **Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute test plans for Android-based systems
- Validate functionality, performance, and system stability across software and hardware layers
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test cases using Python
- Review requirements and identify gaps, ambiguities, and quality risks early in the development process
- Support Android OS upgrade validation, including regression testing and compatibility verification
- Develop test benches and simulators to emulate external systems and interfaces
- Collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to investigate issues and improve product quality
- Maintain clear, structured, and traceable test documentation and reporting
## **Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience testing embedded systems, infotainment systems, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Android/AOSP testing frameworks, tools, and debugging methodologies
- Ability to understand complete system behavior and evaluate functionality from an end-user perspective
- Knowledge of CAN communication and related diagnostic tools
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
## **Meritorious Experience**
- Experience validating Android OS upgrades or platform migrations
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols
- Experience with hardware-near development and testing
