We are looking for a
**System Engineer**
to work with advanced aerospace propulsion systems, focusing on
**engine control systems and embedded software**
. The role involves both
**development of future system concepts**
and
**maintenance and enhancement of existing airborne systems**
in a safety-critical environment.


You will be part of a design organization working with complex, high-reliability systems where
**quality, structure, and technical rigor**
are essential. The assignment includes system-level work as well as deep technical problem solving using
**model-based and physics-based methods**
.


**Scope of work**
The role includes, but is not limited to:



- Development and troubleshooting of control systems for jet engines
- Maintenance and further development of existing models and embedded software
- Concept development, system architecture, and prototyping of new solutions
- Development of models, applications, and scripts to solve physical problems and support engineering workflows
- Collaboration across multiple projects and disciplines in a structured development environment

**Required Qualifications**

- BSc or MSc in Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to work in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Experience working independently while contributing effectively within a team

**Meritorious Experience**

- Matlab / Simulink
- Programming experience in C++, Java, and/or Python
- Experience with SysML or system modeling
- Experience working with airworthy, safety-critical, or regulated products
