**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical & Electronics Engineer to join a Driver Environment team within a leading commercial vehicle development organization. The assignment combines two key responsibilities: End User Function (EUF) Ownership and Verification Engineering.The role is critical in ensuring that driver-facing systems are developed with high quality, safety, usability, and compliance across global variants and use cases.You will act as a technical leader within system design and verification, contributing to both strategic system development and hands-on validation activities in rigs and vehicles
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own and develop End User Function requirements across all variants, use cases, and applicable regulations (global responsibility)
- Translate feature-level requirements into detailed EUF requirements
- Ensure full lifecycle consideration of functions from concept to release
- Evaluate and review functional concepts and system behavior
- Lead and coordinate Functional Safety, Quality, and Cybersecurity activities for assigned EUFs
- Ensure end-to-end compliance, verification, and functionality of EUFs
- Verification Engineer
- Lead verification activities within the Driver Environment team
- Ensure all EUFs are properly verified across systems
- Plan, execute, and document verification activities in rigs and in-vehicle environments
- Analyze test results, identify deviations, and drive issue resolution
- Secure system readiness and quality before release
- Contribute to integration, validation, and verification loops across system levels
- System Design Engineering
- Define and validate test environments for electrical and electronic systems
- Integrate and verify system behavior based on component interfaces and requirements
- Analyze system-level behavior and derive conclusions from test outcomes
- Execute structured test and verification plans
- Ensure alignment with system architecture, requirements, and design intent
- Support technical decision-making in system engineering teams
- Contribute to concept development and system-level evaluations
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Driver Environment / Human Machine Interface domains
- Proven experience as EUF Owner or similar role
- Strong background in verification and validation (rig and vehicle testing)
- Experience with relevant tools such as:
- KOLA
- Vector toolchain (e.g., CANalyzer)
- SystemWeaver
- Experience working in agile environments (including PI planning)
- Strong understanding of system engineering processes within large-scale automotive development
