We are looking for a
**Product Developer**
with a passion for
**plant-based innovation**
. In this role, you will join a dedicated team working to develop and scale up high-quality food products that meet modern consumer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in culinary arts and food science, with a keen understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Develop**
and refine plant-based products with strong sensory and culinary performance
- **Apply food science**
principles to ensure product quality, stability, texture, and taste
- Conduct
**market research**
to identify trends, consumer needs, and development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with
**food regulations**
and labelling requirements
- **Collaborate**
with cross-functional teams including sourcing, production, marketing, and sales
- Conduct
**sensory evaluations**
, shelf-life testing, and cost analysis
- Document and
**follow up**
on all steps in the product development process
- Stay ahead of industry
**trends**
and technological advancements, bringing creative ideas to the product development process.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in plant-based product development
- Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, emulsification, and food chemistry
- Experience with food safety regulations and quality assurance
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Proficient in both written and spoken - Swedish and English
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with plant-based drinks, cooking products and or nutritional products
- Skills in sensory evaluation methodologies
