Swedium Global Services are looking for **senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer**
**Location:**Södertälje, Sweden\Stockholms län
Assignment DescriptionOnsite RequirementsThe consultant is expected to work onsite in Södertälje on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Depending on project needs, onsite presence may increase to up to five days per week. Candidates must be comfortable with regular work from Södertälje.
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Extensive experience as a Linux System Administrator within enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or similar Linux distributions.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools, preferably Ansible.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash.
- Python experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of **Linux desktop environments, X11, and remote graphics/display technologies**.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms, preferably Prometheus-based solutions.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and robust infrastructure solutions. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of complex technical environments.
**Meritorious Experience**
- Experience working in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
- Knowledge of SLURM workload management.
- Experience with NICE DCV, EnginFrame, Open OnDemand, or similar remote visualization platforms.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Additional experience within monitoring and observability tooling.
