**Sales Account Manager**
**Location: Gothenburg, Sweden**
**The Opportunity**
Join an international organization where you will work alongside an experienced local sales team and collaborate with colleagues across different nationalities, functions, and organizational levels.
Our client is now looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will have commercial responsibility for your own projects and act as a key interface between the company and its truck manufacturing customers.
You will follow projects throughout their entire lifecycle — from development and launch through mass production, model year changes, and aftermarket activities.
**Your Responsibilities**
As Sales Account Manager, you will:
- Act as the primary commercial contact for designated customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Take end-to-end (“cradle-to-grave”) commercial responsibility for assigned projects.
- Work as an active member of cross-functional project teams.
- Coordinate and prepare commercial quotations and proposals.
- Present and negotiate quotations with customer purchasing organizations.
- Manage commercial activities related to model year changes, existing products, and major new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as well as external customer contacts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support both strategic and operational commercial activities in an international environment.
**Your Profile**
We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial skills with project experience and the ability to work effectively across an international organization.
You ideally have:
- 10+ years of professional experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology, finance, economics, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience working in project-based environments.
- Experience working with international customers and multicultural teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- A structured and commercially driven approach, with the ability to take ownership of your responsibilities.
**Preferred Experience**
Experience or knowledge in industrial sustainability is considered an advantage.
**Languages**
- English: Fluent — required.
- Swedish: Highly preferred.
- Other major languages are considered an advantage, reflecting the highly international nature of both the customer organization and our client.
**Why This Role?**
This is an opportunity to take ownership of significant customer projects while working in a truly international environment. You will have broad exposure across sales, purchasing, engineering, project management, and other functions, giving you the opportunity to influence projects from initial development through the full product lifecycle.
**Important Information**
We recruit continuously and may close the assignment before the advertised deadline. If this opportunity is of interest to you, we therefore recommend applying as soon as possible.
