Munters are now searching for a Senior Category Manager who will be responsible for the polymer and core components categories in the EMEA area within the Airtech industry. Core Components are glass fiber paper and chemicals.

**About the Senior Category Manager position**

Munters are searching for a Senior Category Manager with extensive Sourcing/Procurement experience. You are a skilled negotiator with previous experience from handling complex supply chains in an international business setting. In this position, you will manage supplier relationships by identifying, sourcing, handling and evaluating suppliers to establish lasting relationship and resilient supply chains, while ensuring Munters criteria are being met. The position is based in Kista and some travelling is required within EMEA. We offer hybrid working but the role requires minimum 2 days a week in Kista.

As Senior Category Manager, your main responsibility is to drive the category strategy for polymers and core components; glass fibre paper and chemicals in the EMEA area! You will analyse market trends and successfully balance risk, lasting value, resilience, cost and performance throughout the whole procurement process. It is your responsibility as Senior Category Manager to ensure visible results on the bottom line. You will lead projects focused on supplier performance, value engineering and cost from idea to follow-ups. As well, you will work continuously with supplier management to ensure lasting relationships which fulfils Munters criteria while balancing aspects as TCO and risk. You will also have the opportunity to work on other cross functional projects and large customer complex projects.

As Senior Category Manager, you will negotiate, develop contracts and proactively collaborate across functions to ensure robust and resilient supply chains. You have previous experience in managing global, complex supply chains as well as executing category strategies, preferably within plastics/polymers, in global organisations. Experience in sourcing chemicals is also preferable.

**Qualifications**

- More than 10 years of Sourcing/Procurement experience, extensive experience within polymers and/or plastics is essential and experience with chemicals is preferable
- Extensive category management experience
- Experience from driving the whole procurement process
- Precious experience from international business settings
- Contract negotiation and management experience
- Preferably experience with IFS ERP
- Fluent in Swedish and English
