**About The Role**
This is a full‑time position based at our manufacturing facility in Trelleborg, Sweden.


As a QHSE Engineer, you will support operations in ensuring that all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements are fully understood and met. You will also contribute to problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities across all departments, as well as manage tasks related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



- Leading and maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement of quality processes across the business;
- Developing, implementing, and sustaining Quality Plans to support ongoing improvement of quality processes;
- Implementing and monitoring KPIs for quality processes and recommending actions when performance does not meet required standards;
- Ensuring that products and processes meet customer requirements and specifications;
- Managing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities for the site, including:
- Investigating product quality issues to:

- protect the customer,
- identify and implement immediate corrective actions to enable production at acceptable quality levels through root cause analysis, and
- ensure long-term actions are implemented to prevent recurrence;

- Managing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities for the site, including:

- Championing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
- Supporting and advising the business on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental matters and best practice;
- Organising and delivering EHS training to employees where appropriate;
- Creating and maintaining a positive, proactive health and safety culture;
- Providing guidance and promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness and compliance at all levels of the organisation;
- Leading regular safety tours and making recommendations where necessary;

- Performing other reasonable duties as required.
- Educated, preferably to degree level, in a technical discipline;
- Proven relevant experience within a Quality function;
- Continuous improvement skills, e.g., LEAN methodologies;
- Previous experience in managing Health and Safety matters;
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 implementation or an equivalent standard;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Experience using SAP is advantageous;
- Ability to present data accurately and effectively;
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a proactive mindset;
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands while meeting operational deadlines;
- Ability to influence and mentor colleagues to ensure ongoing compliance with Quality Management Systems;
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
