*Primrock is looking for a couple of driven and technically strong project engineers for our upcoming battery energy storage system (BESS) projects and associated power infrastructure.*
About the role as Project Engineer
As a project engineer, you play a key role in the preparation, execution, and delivery of our BESS construction projects. You work closely with project managers and senior engineers, supporting both the technical and practical aspects of project implementation. Your responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, and specifications. You contribute to engineering design reviews, interface coordination, and technical risk assessments. You support procurement processes by preparing technical requirements, evaluating supplier documentation, and following up deliveries. You participate in site coordination, technical meetings, inspections, and commissioning activities. You also help establish and follow up quality, safety, and control programs, and support cost tracking, schedules, and technical reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
About you
You are a relatively recent graduate or early-career professional with a Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field with excellent academic resuts. We think you are a graduate from a top school such as KTH, LTH or similar. Experience or strong interest in power systems, battery energy storage, substations, or grid-connected assets is highly valued. You are structured, analytical, and comfortable working with technical documentation and data. You can express yourself professionally in both written Swedish and English. Since our projects involve complex technical, regulatory, and contractual material, you are expected to be able to absorb, understand, and communicate detailed information in both languages.
