The role of the Product Owner is to be responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing the team backlog in collaboration with Product Manager and Business Owners. This streamlines the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components.

The candidate will be part of the R&D team. The R&D team develops complete systems including both hardware and software.

**Position summary**

In our successful Dynamic Connectivity Platform (DCP) there is a wide range of products to enable highly flexible networks in a cost-efficient way. Several new products are in the roadmap for 2026 and onwards, and we’re in need of a senior Product Owner to assist us on that journey. We work in a SAFe agile process and the Product Owner works in a team with software and hardware developers, system verification engineers and Business Owners.

**Requirements**

- Based in the Stockholm area
- Exam within relevant field, e.g. MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Good communication skills in English, preferably also in Swedish, with interest and experience to do documentation
- Experience from fiber optical industry, telecommunication or data communication
- Experience with agile development, leading development teams and/or product requirements specification processes
- People handling skills – e.g. mentoring, building relationships, problem-solving, empathy, planning

**Considered beneficial**

- Experience of the SAFe Framework
- Experience with Atlassian product suite for product development (Jira)
- Programming skills in e.g Modern C++ or Rust, on e.g. Embedded Linux
- Experience with network technologies (IP, Ethernet, DWDM)
- Experience with SDN (software-defined network) architectures and related protocols (e.g. RESTCONF, NETCONF and gNMI)
