Operations Associate

At Standab, we build and operate parking and charging infrastructure for shared micromobility. Our mission is to make shared e-scooters and e-bikes easier to operate, easier to regulate and easier to integrate into cities.

We work closely with operators, cities, property owners and local partners to deploy infrastructure that improves parking behaviour, charging performance and overall system efficiency. We are now looking for an
**Operations Associate**
who wants to play a key role in making sure our stations are installed correctly, function as intended and continue to perform well over time.

About the role

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working close to the physical product and the day-to-day reality in the field. You will be responsible for supporting station deployments, carrying out site visits, monitoring performance on the ground and ensuring that our installations meet a high standard from day one and onwards.

A big part of the role is being present where things actually happen. That means checking that stations are correctly installed, identifying issues early, following up on usage and making sure the infrastructure works well in practice for operators, cities and end users.

The role will require
**regular travel**
, primarily within the Nordics and potentially other nearby markets depending on project needs.

What you will do

Your work will vary depending on project stage and market, but key responsibilities will include:

- Support and oversee station installations in the field to ensure they are completed correctly and according to plan
- Conduct site visits before, during and after deployment to assess location quality, installation readiness and station condition
- Monitor station performance on the ground, including usage patterns, physical condition, user behaviour and operational quality
- Identify installation issues, quality deviations or recurring operational problems and make sure they are addressed quickly
- Follow up with local partners, operators, installers and internal team members to ensure smooth deployment and strong operational execution
- Carry out regular inspections of stations to ensure they remain safe, functional and presentable over time
- Help document findings from the field and report back clear recommendations, issues and improvement opportunities
- Support testing, troubleshooting and rollout of new hardware, features or operational processes
- Act as Standab’s eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring that real-world feedback is captured and translated into action

We believe you are a practical, reliable and detail-oriented person who enjoys taking ownership and making sure things are done properly. You are comfortable being out in the field, working independently, and dealing with the kind of issues that naturally come up when infrastructure is deployed in real urban environments.

You are likely someone who notices what others miss, follows through on tasks, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard.

We think you probably have:

- Experience from a hands-on operational role, field operations, deployment, installation, technical support or similar
- A structured way of working and the ability to manage multiple tasks across different locations and projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic mindset
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Comfort using digital tools for reporting, coordination and follow-up
- A willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
- A valid driver’s licence

It is a plus if you have experience from

- Mobility, transport, infrastructure, logistics or technical operations
- Working with physical installations in public or semi-public environments
- Quality control, inspections or field-based performance follow-up
- Startups, scaleups or other fast-moving environments
- Working with external contractors, municipalities or operational partners
