About you on this role

You are a safety‑focused and detail‑oriented professional who supports vessel and logistics operations through the consistent application of standard operating procedures. In this role, you will load and unload vessels efficiently while developing technical and operational skills on the job. You will work under close to moderate supervision and collaborate closely with panel operators, team coordinators, contractors, and logistics teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and customer‑focused operations.

Responsibilities

- Load and unload vessels safely and efficiently under the supervision of the Panel Operator and Team Coordinator. Prepare, manage, and verify shipping documentation and paperwork.
- Investigate equipment or process defects in a structured manner and ensure appropriate follow‑up. Ensure equipment is clean, isolated, and pressure‑free in a timely manner to support maintenance activities.
- Support and coordinate activities performed by on‑site contractor firms. Ensure logistics activities and performance are aligned with departmental and business objectives.
- Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues. Perform minor repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance using approved procedures and disciplines.
- Use operational knowledge to drive improvements in warehouse operations, load rack performance, and Operating Discipline.
- Act as the focal point for contract operations in the assigned logistics area, including:
- Prioritizing daily tasks
- Providing operational direction
- Escalating issues to contract supervision when required

Qualifications

- Completion of Vocational Education or Upper Secondary Education (High School Diploma or equivalent).
- No prior work experience is required; suitable for entry-level candidates with the right aptitude and willingness to learn.
