Jobbeskrivning

Rettig Investment AB is looking for a Junior Portfolio Controller in Stockholm

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise alongside experienced investment professionals.

Rettig is a family-owned investment company that generates consistent, top-tier, risk-adjusted returns. Our investment strategy focuses on both public and private investments globally and sets out to generate attractive over the cycle returns while maintaining an appropriate risk level in the portfolio.

We aim to be a professional, flexible, and value-adding partner. Our relationships are built on trust, long-term commitment, and professionalism — values that define both our company culture and the partners and employees we seek. Rettig Group is controlled by the 9th generation of the von Rettig family. www.rettig.fi

As a Junior Portfolio Controller you will:

- Support financial and tax reporting, ensuring high-quality reporting of our investment portfolios.
- Participate in investment processes, both at entry and exit, and handle back-office tasks such as cash management, KYC, and corporate administration.
- Assist with monthly management reporting, year-end reporting, and tax returns.
- Contribute to the continuous development of internal finance processes and tax principles, providing analyses that ensure consistent reporting across our Private Equity strategies.
- Handle a variety of ad-hoc tasks, ranging from routine administrative work to more complex analyses and investigations related to investments and reporting.
- Work in a specialist team of approximately 8 colleagues. You report to our Portfolio Controllers, and collaborate with the investment professional team. The teams are based in Finland and Sweden.

We do not expect you to be an expert in all areas from day one — there will be ample opportunity to grow in the role.

Your background:

- 1–2 years of experience in accounting and basic knowledge of Swedish corporate taxation.
- Passion for accounting and taxation, combined with a strong interest in investments, private markets, and investment-related tax matters.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Relevant education, such as B.Sc. or M.Sc. in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting, consulting, audit, or finance is a plus.

You are proactive, self-reliant, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You have a strong “can-do” mentality, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach. Most importantly, you share our values and want to contribute to making us a leading Nordic investment platform.

Why join Rettig Investment AB?

- A dynamic work environment with interesting financial counterparties.
- A skilled and motivated team where collaboration is valued.
- A broad and developing role where you can apply your expertise while continuously learning and taking on new challenges.
- Competitive compensation with fixed salary and bonus program.
- Benefits including mobile phone, meal allowance, private health insurance, and an encouraging team environment.
- A long-term and sustainable work culture that values a good balance between work and personal life.
- The opportunity to be part of an ambitious organization working with best-in-class companies and always striving for top-quality results.
