, but we’re really looking for someone who builds for builders and enables others to succeed.


In this role, you create intuitive, modern web experiences. These enable developers, business stakeholders and IT professionals to discover, create and engage with If’s API ecosystem.


**About The Role**
In this role, your focus will be on the customer-facing parts of If’s API Platform, such as our Developer Portal, API Management Portal and Agentic AI tools. You will enhance these experiences, making it easier for partners, customers and internal IT teams to create and engage with If’s API products.


You will work at the intersection of frontend and backend development, with the opportunity to innovate and enable others to do the same.


You will:



- Build and enhance web applications and services in If’s API Platform using Node.js, React and Next.js, with TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Design and implement API-first solutions, including Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns that improve performance and user experience.
- Develop and maintain data persistence with document-oriented or relational databases.
- Work with OAuth2/OpenID Connect for secure authentication.
- Develop and deploy container-based solutions on our cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Create automated tests and quality assurance scripts using tools like Playwright and contribute to our CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to the design and usability of our customer-facing portals, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible and resilient.

at If P&C Insurance. Our mission is to combine API management with modern IAM to create secure, accessible and compliant digital experiences, where APIs are managed as products.

**Who Are You?**
We are looking for someone who enjoys building modern web applications and supporting fellow developers. Ideally, you have experience with several of the technologies listed above. Experience from a regulated industry such as finance or insurance is a plus. Most of all, you enjoy learning and collaborating in an agile environment.

**You also have:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
