Mölnlycke is now looking for a Data Engineer, based at our global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, reporting within the Analytics & Data Platform team.
**In this role**
You will be part of a high-performing Data Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating data pipelines that power analytics, operational use cases, and enterprise platforms such as MDM. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong collaboration across Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, and business domains.

**What You’ll Do**
**Key Responsibilities**
Data Engineering & Pipelines
- Design, build, and optimise scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Azure Data Factory
- Develop high-quality, tested, and maintainable SQL and transformation logic
- Use Python for automation, orchestration enhancements, and advanced transformations
- Contribute to implementing agents to increase efficiency and improve quality
Integration & Platform Collaboration
- Integrate data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Profisee/MDM, and other operational sources
- Work closely with MDM, Analytics, and Integration teams to support end-to-end data flows
- Contribute to shared patterns, frameworks, and platform standards
Quality, Reliability & Improvement
- Implement monitoring, alerting, testing, and data quality checks as standard practice
- Optimise performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of pipelines
- Continuously improve ways of working through automation and reusable solutions
Agile Delivery & Teamwork
- Deliver work through Agile ceremonies using Jira
- Collaborate actively with other engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders
- Contribute to a culture of learning, feedback, and shared ownership
**What You Bring**
Must-have
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (or equivalent tools)
- Advanced SQL skills and solid data modeling foundations
- Python experience for automation and pipeline enhancements
- Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise systems
- Comfort working in Agile teams using Jira
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Master Data Management concepts
- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
- CI/CD exposure (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Interest in agent-based or AI-assisted automation
