**Job Description:**
As the D365 F&O Technical Lead, you will be the primary authority on the technical health and architectural integrity of our ERP ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical execution, leading a global development team to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. You aren't just overseeing code; you are defining the technical roadmap for a business-critical platform.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architectural Leadership: Design end-to-end technical architectures for D365 F&O, ensuring alignment with best practices, scalability, and "Update Safe" development standards.
- Team Orchestration: Lead and mentor onshore and offshore development teams. You will be responsible for workload distribution, sprint planning, and technical troubleshooting & development.
- Quality Governance: Conduct rigorous code reviews and enforce strict development standards. Ensure that all extensions and customizations minimize technical debt and maintain upgrade compatibility.
- Integration Strategy: Design and oversee complex integrations between D365 and external systems (PLM, CRM, Banking, etc.) using Azure Integration Services, OData, and Custom Services.
- Environment & ALM Management: Own the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process, including build automation, Azure DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines, and environment promotion strategies.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as the technical point of escalation for stakeholders, providing clarity on complex design decisions, performance tuning, and the impact of Microsoft’s "One Version" updates.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- Core Technical: Expert-level X++ development, C#, and deep understanding of the D365 F&O Metadata model and AOS.
- Integration: Proven experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Power Platform (Dataverse/Dual-write).
- Data & Reporting: Proficiency in Electronic Reporting (ER), BYOD, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI integration.
- DevOps: Mastery of Azure DevOps for version control, build definitions, and automated deployments.
- Soft Skills: Strong consultative mindset with the ability to translate "technical speak" into business value for C-suite stakeholders.
**Preferred Experience**
- Experience: 5+ years in Dynamics AX/D365 F&O development, with at least 2 years in a Lead capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (MB-700) or Developer (MB-300/500)
