360Player is the all-in-one sports Club Operating System trusted by leading organizations like FC Barcelona, Rush Soccer, and Rafa Nadal Academy. With a platform that streamlines everything from scheduling and payments to player development and video analytics, we’re transforming how sports clubs operate globally. We're a product-led company with a strong engineering culture, and we take the craft of building software seriously. The platform serves 1 000 000+ users, and the quality and reliability of what we ship matters — to the clubs, to the athletes, and to us.
We’re looking for a
**Backend Engineer**
to develop and manage the 360Player platform.
****About the role****
We're looking for a
**Backend Engineer**
to join our engineering team in Stockholm. This is a generalist backend role with real breadth — you'll work across different parts of the platform, contribute to technical decisions, and take ownership of what you build from design through to production.
You'll work closely with product, frontend engineers, and other backend developers in a collaborative environment where good engineering judgement and clear communication are valued as much as technical output.
We're at a meaningful point in 360Player's growth — expanding into new markets, taking on more complex clients, and investing heavily in the product. It's a great time to join, and we're looking for someone who will grow with us.
**What You'll Do**
- Design, build, and maintain backend features across multiple domains of the 360Player platform.
- Write well-structured Go code that is maintainable, testable, and easy for your teammates to work with.
- Work with relational databases — schema design, query performance, migrations.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver complete, end-to-end features.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Integrate AI tools meaningfully into your workflow to improve the quality and pace of your work.
- Contribute to code reviews and share knowledge across the team.
- Take clear ownership of the things you build.
**What We're Looking For**
5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang), or solid experience in another language with genuine motivation to work in Go.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Good understanding of API design and how to build systems that hold up over time.
- Comfortable working across different product domains — you pick up new context quickly and ask good questions.
- Actively uses AI tools — Claude or similar — as a genuine part of how you work, and thinks critically about where they help and where they don't.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
**Personal Qualities**
- Takes ownership seriously — you care about what happens after you ship, not just whether it shipped.
- A genuine team player — you communicate clearly, share context proactively, and think about the people working alongside you.
- Curious and adaptable — you're comfortable with new domains and don't need everything defined before you can move.
- Thoughtful about the craft of engineering — you follow how the field is evolving, have opinions about it, and are willing to share them. We're actively shaping how we work with AI tools and we value engineers who want to be part of that conversation.
- High personal standards — you care about doing things well, and it shows in how you approach your work.
**Why 360Player**
- A product used by a million plus people across the world, with real consequences if it doesn't work well.
- A small, capable engineering team with broad scope and genuine influence over technical direction.
- A modern stack: Go, TypeScript/React, Azure SQL, hosted on Azure.
- A collaborative, in-office culture in Stockholm — we work better together in the same room.
- A team that's genuinely thinking about what software engineering looks like in the next few years — and wants the people we hire to help us figure that out.
- Room to grow as the company scales — we promote from within and invest in the people who invest in us.
**How to Apply**
Apply with your
**resume and a short cover letter**
. We'd be interested to hear how you currently use AI tools in your development work — not as a filter, but because it's increasingly central to how we think about engineering here.
We review applications on a rolling basis.
